Montana Contractors’ Association is ...

An association dedicated:
• to be the leader of Montana’s construction industry promoting economic viability by providing complete services to members, including a competent workforce and enhanced image, privatization, and economic development

• to provide services to its members, promoting profitable business relationships while actively addressing public policy issues affecting its members and responsibly serving public needs with integrity and enhancing the quality of life in Montana.

Principal Objectives

• To promote fair and honorable dealings with the owners of construction projects, both public and private, and with all segments of the construction industry including architects, engineers, specialty and subcontractors, suppliers of materials and services including surety firms, insurance firms, financial institutions.

• To develop good relations with employees and their lawful representatives and make every effort to provide safe working conditions on construction projects and to promote safe working habits by their employees.

• To promote members’ awareness of and participation in legislative and political activities.

 

The policies and direction of the Association are determined by an eleven member Board of Directors. There is also an Associate Board of Directors. These Boards are elected by the membership at the Associations Annual Convention.

The Chapter Staff administer the policy and direction as determined by the Board and the Executive Committee. The Chapter Office is located at 1717 Eleventh Avenue in Helena.

Montana Contractors’ Association is represented at the National AGC by five National Directors.

Montana Contractors’ Association is and always will be a member-oriented Association.
