The Concrete Division of the Montana Contractors' Association is a group of Ready Mix Concrete Producers and Suppliers who are actively promoting those industry items related to ready mix concrete production in the state of Montana.
The Concrete Division is targeting those industries that would benefit joining our division and promoting concrete as the preferred building material.
Promotional Areas
Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) committee is active in the promotion of using ICF as a preferred method of building for residential and commercial structures. ICF offers many benefits to the owner such as long life, durability, low maintenance, energy efficient, safety and security.
Concrete Paving includes Ultra-Thin Whitetopping (UTW) a new process in which 2" to 4" of high-strength fiber-reinforced concrete is placed over a specially prepared surfaced of distressed asphalt. UTW is a procedure for the repair of asphalt to provide a long life, low maintenance, durable surface for roads and parking areas.
Pervious concrete is a specialized mix design which contains 15-20% air voids, allowing water to pass through the concrete and return to the water table. This is a very innovative and exciting application of concrete paving, and the Concrete Division is proud to be the American Concrete Institute Local Sponsoring Group for Pervious Concrete training and assistance.
