As A Member

You will be part of the Associated General Contractors of America... the largest and best trade association devoted entirely to serving the interest of the construction industry.

The National Association is over 8,000 General Contractors and over 25,000 Associate Members strong. Regardless of your size, you will be a part of an organization dedicated to "Building a Better America."

You will enjoy the many benefits of a full-service Association, including improved techniques and special developments in construction materials and methods, equipment, management, group insurance, workers’ compensation, legislative representation in law making processes and other industry-related programs.

Who Can Join

Any firm whose livelihood is wholly or in part derived from the construction industry.

The Montana Contractors’ Association has three classes of members: Contractor or Visiting Contractor, Specialty Contractor, and Associate.

Contractor

General contractors and construction managers who are engaged in public and/or private sector construction projects.

Visiting Contractor

Same qualifications as a contractor, but headquarters are located in another state.

Specialty Contractor

A Specialty Contractor is categorized as a construction firm that usually contracts to a general or an owner for specialized work and whose responsibility is the completion of a specific portion of a project.

  • The formation of the AGC Specialty Contractors Council provides specialty contractors with a better home within AGC.
  • Specialty contractors have a new and unique opportunity to improve their influence within AGC and the construction industry.
  • The AGC of America supports and is committed to the mission of the Specialty Contractors Council.

Membership Dues:

  • Annual dues of $578 are paid annually by the first day of February.
Associate

Any individual or firm that supplies materials, products, equipment or services directly or indirectly to the construction industry.

  • Publications and documents
  • Political representation
  • Construction Education and Training
  • Opportunity To network with peers

Membership Dues:

  • Annual dues of $576.50 are paid annually by the first day of February.
