A one-day course that includes instruction on properly performing, recording and reporting the results of four basic ASTM laboratory procedures related to the determination of concrete compressive and flexural strength. The class will review ASTM standards in the morning and take a written test before lunch. After lunch, the class will participate in performance examinations. Non-programmable calculators are permitted.
This is a certification program and should not be considered a training course. Successful completion of the written and performance examination depends on a thorough knowledge of the course materials. It is strongly recommended that all participants have a good working knowledge of the testing equipment and ASTM Standards before attending the course.
